This hunt is all about new creators and stores putting themselves out there. All the stores in this event opened after November, , 2011. The hunt items only cost 1L each and there are quite a few good gifts in the mix. Items aren’t just limited to women’s fashion. There are items for men and women’s appearances as well as furniture and poses and more.

Keep Calm and Keep Shopping May 14th to May 28th

The Keep Calm and Keep Shopping event is a two week event featuring some of the most fantastic stores in Second Life! They’ll have a wide range of stores including furniture, apparel, animations, houses etc. All participating stores will have one (or more) brand new, exclusive, never to be sold again item(s) placed in their stores. You know what that means … no extra laggy event locations. The items will be spread out all over and you will be able to experience the stores in their entirety not just a sample of their wares.

This not a discount event, items will be full price. It’s also not a charity event, all the money will go straight to the designers. It’s just an event with some amazing creations.

The idea behind this is exposure and exclusive items, because the creators of the event feel we need more events that are aimed purely at Second Life designers. The money they earn goes towards creating new and amazing items for us (the consumers of SL), paying land rent/ tier, and for some even helps cover their real life bills. It’s time to say thank you to all the fabulous creators that make Second Life the way it is today, they don’t get thanked enough!

The event runs from May 14th until May 28th. All participating stores will be listed on the blog along with their slurls. There’s an inworld group for shoppers and a separate one for designers and bloggers! Let’s meet the future of Mesh!

Yasum creates some so well made Mesh clothing that you have a huge huge option to choose the right alphalayer for your avatar and the right size for your avatar also. No trouble anymoe with fitting the shape to the mesh with this outfit. This outfit contents a fully set out of skirts, jackets, the fabolous plateou shoes, the earrings and a option of glowing silver or golden lashes with the fitting sculpted eyelashes who can be edited to any eye in SL as every lash can be moved separately. The first time maybe a bit more work to fit the eye but then its like in reality.

So it seems today I will have my last Miss Virtual World 2012 gown The competition is already 3 month over now but the stunning and beautiful gown of Miss VW USA 2012, Miss Michaela Benazzi, made by Mami Jewell, owner and designer of Azul, could not be missed in my MVW 2012 gown series

The “Michaela” gown like you can see it on the picture is the original version , that Miss Michaela Benazzi was wearing on the MVW 2012 runway. Mami Jewell created more colors and a fully cream-white version for all those who do not like the white-blue-red combination The wonderful top is made with such lovely details, like lights, shadows and folds that you nearly can feel the sating that is wrapped round your upper body. The flowers are a wonderful decoration that hold the blue and red flexible lines that fall down in an amazing way. The delicate light white fabric that makes the skirt falls down in a dreamy flexible way to the ground. The skirt a well is ornamented at the bottom end and again shows how much love for the detail Mami Jewell puts in her designs. The “Michaela” gown you can purchase in many different colors at the Azul Mainstore.

The wonderful elegant jewelry was made my Alienbear Gupte, genius designer of Alienbear. She totally picked up the white-blue-red theme combines with the roses and created a wonderful filigree and sophisticated set, called “Michaela”. The incredible crown is made of 3 parts that you just add one after another. The necklace is made of 2 parts and the earrings and bracelet only take one attachment spot. Alienbear again showed that she is one of the most skilled jewelry designers in SL if it comes to ideas, designs and texturing. Her jewelry always makes every person wearing it at least a princess for one evening So make your way to the Alienbear Mainstore and see what is new beside the “Michaela” set.

Introducing My Attic

The stores of The Deck have come together to offer us another great discount shop with each item costing only 95L. The overall theme of the shop is My Attic and each collection will represent a different sub-theme; this round’s sub-theme is Summer Abroad 1955-1960. I really love the vintage look of all the items, and it was terribly hard to choose personal favorites with so many talented artists participating! In the end, I would have to go with the poses from aDORKable, the dresses from DCNY (you get so much cuteness for your money!), the fabulous glasses from Miel and of course the mesh from Maitreya! I’m pretty sure that this discount shop will not disappoint you! When you teleport in, be aware that The Deck has a landing point. But, not to worry! There is a huge teleport board titled My Attic at your landing location; simply click the board and you will be in the shop in a matter of seconds. Or, you could just walk up the stairs since you land directly in front of the shop anyway! This collection runs through the end of the month.
