Over at The Ego Co., our team has been super busy organzing Mesh Around. Mesh Around is a grid wide hunt running June 1, 2012 – June 15, 2012 where all hunt gifts will be mesh items! We are very excited to be bringing this hunt to the grid and well as some other events I’ll talk more about later on. Applications for Mesh Around officially closed this past weekend, but I’ve had several people IM me and ask me to keep them open another week. SO I’ve decided to re-open them through the end of this week!
Mesh Around applications are re-opening today and will remain open through Midnight, May 13, 2012!!

The Stringer Mausoleum is a store that has been around for a long while in SL, and it is one of those stores that means a lot to me personally as it was one of my first favourites! I was sad when it and it’s designer, Helena Stringer, took a break from SL, but now it’s back! Dragged back in for the Crazy Hair Hunt, she caught the bug again and has begun working on her store, with a new-found passion for the petites!
To launch her new collection, Helena is releasing some of her latest items in special edition colours in A MINI HUNT! In this hunt you can find 4 eye sets, 2 wing sets and 2 hair sets, these will be set for sale at 5L each, and will include Regular and Petite sizes. Everything is also UNISEX! All you need to do is find the candles, but there are some that are not set for sale too, so which candles hold the prizes?
This mini-hunt runs until May 13th.

Please note: You have to create the prim that you drop the Gold Cupcakes into yourself. Your name must show as creator of the prim.
Make sure all the 30 Gold Cupcakes are in the box. If one or more are missing, you will not be in the draw.

Welcome May!
Many new things going on this month: YOLO hunt 2012 (official blog+list here) and the 5th Annual Secondlife Home and Garden Expo (website here). I’m participating in both! But first, YOLO! The hunt is from 1st-15th May, and this set of eyes is the prize. This set includes regular eyes+mesh eyes. 3 colours according to the theme of the hunt! I want to thank Nyu for her help with the mesh eyes. <3 Oh yes, you’ll be looking for a ‘y’ shaped object in this hunt.
And for Home and Garden expo, I made some decor art pieces~ I will put out landmarks when I can. Loads of things going on in this expo, it’s a total of 14 sims with loads of great designers. Everyone will have new items out for this event with proceeds going to the Relay For Life fund (a fundraising campaign for the American Cancer Society). The event opens May 19th at 6am SLT, so I will try to release more info later on if I can~ Lastly, new group gift is out at my store: knee high socks! It is a perfect, clear morning in the city. With lots of great new items to show, let’s get to it!
First up are these fantastic boots from [NN] Designs on the Face Your Phobia Hunt (dollarbie). Look for a big (by insect standards) spider (Yikes!) to pick up these winners. They come in two sizes with this being the smaller for average sized guys. They are however manual mod so resizing to gal size works just fine. Now this is a prize from a PHOBIA hunt and there ARE spiders crawling on the boots. Should you not love spiders (Chic raises hand) you can move the spiders inside the boots with some quick editing. They will still be there of course. Repeat after me, “face your phobia, face your phobia”.
Super, super boots! These are a version of the NEW color change variety out in the store. Those come sans spiders *wink*.
Also in my “I just love it!” category is this scaffold pose prop from STaTUs at Culture Shock. This comes in two versions with one being for gals. Lots of poses are in the mix via menu. I couldn’t find any adjustment options but the poses seem to fit most average sized avatars well. The prop is only two prims and looks very much at home in a grungy city environment.
Also for the guys from Akeruka at Culture Shock, a special version of the Antonio skin. The pale toned skin comes with tattoos for hair, eyeliner (shown) or both. There is a skin that includes hair also.

I am strapped for time, so it is a brief post but with LOTS of great things.
New from Akeruka a special color of the Blanca skin for Culture Shock (opens May 4th), shown with one of the included lip tattoo colors and some recently released eyeshadow from KOSH. This is a really lovely skin.
This super cute poet’s blouse from Sassy comes as part of a set on the This is Totally Me Hunt. Not much on those mini prims, I paired it with some leather pants from sf Designs.
This (*chanimations – “PassionParlor” PhotoStage has SO many areas to dance and prance and take photos! Color change curtains and walls let you mix and match. Two sizes are included. Make it a club or your personal brothel. Well make it anything you want. So pretty!
The poses shown here are all from a new Diesel Works set, Kneeled Female Poses. I can remember hunting for kneels in my beginning blogger days. There are times when they are the very best choice to show off your styling. It is wonderful to have a fatpack available. Yeah!
