I was recently told the Sim I had lived on for a year and a half was going to go away, but thanks to my persistent neighbor Maeve all is well. Maeve put the news out there and found a buyer for our lovely Inquisitive Minds Sim. The new owner Amari Maven squared up my long narrow strip of land, and I went for a whole new look, including a fresh house! With all the newness, I purchased all fresh landscaping elements, and I have fallen head over heels in love with Alirium!! The display area on the Alirium Sim is nothing short of genius!! My parcel looks amazing, if you have the prims don’t skimp on trees, go with Alirium!!
I got the notice this last week of a new collection at Collabor88 and I jetted over mostly in hopes of a brand new furniture set, but this amazing Cheeky Pea Hammock set is just perfect. I am never disappointed with Cheeky Pea and mesh furniture is by far the best!!! I also got the mesh bedroom set called Georgie (I got the adult version 
and all I can say is Isla Gealach you rock!!! Isla has the perfect eye for textures and making things look lived in and not generically new. The animations are awesome, there are couples animations too. I am looking forward to some summer time days inworld right here enjoying my little bit of SL heaven.

Hello!
I usually have tons of things I want to blog, so I decided to do something different this time.. not sure how long this style of pics will last but I’ve been a bit uninspired lately to take pics so… we will see! I think I started this post as several different ones.. and then I didn’t like them.. so I tried something different.. and did that several times.. until well.. this style happened. I always loved how they do this collage in magazines and even if it’s not perfect I like the way it turned out in the end. 
Hopefully it will get prettier with each post as I get to experiment more with placing the pictures and adding things.

It’s time to get back to my blogging routine. First two items on my list that I must show you are the lovely Mavma eyes and Je Suis Coquet Mesh Bag.

Mavma eyes come in 4 colours i.e. black, blue, brown and green. They are very realistic and beautiful. My favourite is the black eyes which is what I am wearing in the picture above while chewing on my red Je Suis Coquet Mesh Bag. :D
Mavma is a brand owned by Leah McCullough, a renowned photographer and model in SL. Many would agree that Leah is an excellent photographer and there is no single doubt about her texturing skills. I am really excited to find that Leah will be venturing into designing and can’t wait to see what she has in store for us. For time being, visit Mavma on the Je Suis sim to check out these eyes and items Leah has released earlier on.
The Je Suis Coquet Mesh bag on the other hand is an exclusive item created for Culture Shock 2012, the charity event run by CHIC to raise funds for Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders). 50% of the sales coming from these donated items will go to the charity. The Coquet bag comes in five solid colours i.e. gold, olive, red, cream and brown. All with black matching trims, handle and bow. Definitely a must have for this season!

I was blog perving this morning, reading through the mass of blogs that I enjoy looking at with my early morning coffee, when I stumbled upon a fundraising event that seemed fairly interesting. The Ashraya Project, according to the official SL event blog, is “an organization based in India which operates with the purpose of providing aid to Indian children in need and abused women through the implementation of various projects.” This project is a sales event with a glamourous twist, all of the designers taking part seem to have a very high fashion edge to them, if you want beautiful gowns and interesting pieces then this event may open your eyes to some designers you had never heard of before it certainly did that for me!
The photos in the gallery below are of any exclusive or donation item that I could find, some stores are still setting up and others do not seem to have a donation item in their collections, yet I have taken pictures and made notes of as many of the ones I could find for you as possible. Also, although I have ordered the pictures there is no set order and if you wander up and down the rows on the two sims you will not miss out on anything. Prices here do vary, but there seems to be a lot of beautiful items here, with a percentage of marked items being given to the Ashraya Charity. There will be a whole host of things going on for this event, not just of the shopping variety, so take a look at Ashraya Project for more of the SL details, or for more details on the Project itself check out; Ashraya for the real world information. This sales event will run until June 4th!
