I’m too posh for this place!

I’m in love with the sim I chose today for pics, though it’s not really suited for Moniq’s outfit. I went on and took the snapshots here, because it somehow reminded of me going grocery shopping. Of course, I’m not going to the supermarket dressed like that, but whenever I have to buy stuff that’s necessary for the home I’m always a bit lost and undecided. Of course, I’m the queen of buying useless stuff just for the sake of buying it, on the other hand. And that’s how Moniq looks at that market. Would you imagine here negotiating fish prices?

The point of this post? The boots and the bag! I obviously caved in for the new Slink Relax boots, they’re too pretty to say no or look elsewhere. I also love this Chandelle bag, because it looks a lot like a bag that I have in RL, but I’d love it in that color. The skirt is mesh and is an older release by Elymode, the top is Sn@tch, the fur collar is taken from a Voix dress.

The skin is a new release by Essences, called Elena. It comes in five tones and you can also get lipsticks separately. The hair (with matching hairbase) is MADesign’s prize in the Womenstuff hunt.

I often hear my friends talking about how there aren’t enough darker toned skins, so this one is for you ladies. ♥ Normally, I’m all ultra pale and to be honest, I don’t usually even look at darker toned skins, but this one caught my eye. If you’re looking for a darker tone skin, I suggest demoing this one, it might be what you’re looking for. Also, everybody’s buzzing about the new mesh shop, coldLogic. happy february! \o/ one month already zipped by in 2012 in the blink of an eye, i swear it… but february is a good month! one step closer to spring (which i am honestly *craving* — i’m a li’l tired of the snow && cold!), my birthday…… *ahem* (i turn 28 towards the end of the month, egad @_@) and of course… valentine’s day~

i put a girly girly look together today, using a vday palette in mind, with a couple things from the new round o’ stumblebum. luckily for me, the color choices for this collection of stumblebum goodies were reds, pinks && white… which made making a casual-yet-cute valentine ensemble raaaaaaather easy!

plus, i honestly *love* the way red && hot pink look together.. and it seems as though the first fourteen days of february are the only appropriate times to wear them together. so it was a nice excuse!

the stripey skirt, from boom, and the *gorgeous* pink eyes, from insufferable dastard are just two of the offerings in this round of stumble. the skirt so reminds me of spring — crisp white cotton, striped with two vibrant colors …. ugh, i really hope good ole punxsutawney phil predicts an early spring for us tomorrow. i could seriously go for some more spring time weather, the last few days in my rl i’ve been enjoying temperatures above 40 for a change. it’s been so nice~

but, that was a completely irrelevant tangent. xD

back to the skirt! it’s flirty && cute, but totally works for vday if you’re needin’ an outfit. and since it’s out for stumble, it is the perfect time to shop early and have your outfit ready if you have plans. …which i am envious of, i need somethin’ fun to do on valentine’s day. ;/

i paired the skirt with one of my favorite tanks from candydoll, some *new* rose-decorated heels from purrfect 10 (which allow you to change the colors of the roses to suit your own vday attire~), and a pretty updo from magari. simple, even by my own standards, but cute nonetheless! and maaaaaaybe i was feeding my own desire for an early spring with the bare arms && skirt combo. but at least in sl, i won’t freeze myself to the bone if i run around in hoping for spring, but still wanting a valentine kinda clothes. now all i need is a chivalrous date to offer me his jacket…. *schemes*

[►] I’ve got some really cute stuff to show you guys in this post. Because I was so busy this past week, I had to take a few days away from blogging, and I got a bit back logged, so here’s some things I missed! I ran across these skins on Flickr and thought they were absolutely adorable, you should def go check them out! Sophia is ♥. I’m also wearing some really cute accessories from Izzie’s, je suis and~Pepper~. ~Pepper~ has released this mesh belt, which is also color change, so you can match it with just about any outfit. Izzie’s stone jewelry comes in several different colors, but this red really caught my eye. I think it’ll be one of my favs for sure. And this mesh bag from je suis speaks for itself. It’s a bold piece full of personality and character and there are various other patterns. When it comes to animal print, zebra is usually my thing, but I thought I’d show you guys the leopard print as a nice little change of pace! Hai sweet fashion bees

I hope everyone is doing fine! I didn’t had much time for me this weekend, I opened BALZAC Mainstore with my sister Beatriz de Balzac and Hackos de Balzac. We are now selling shapes, poses, and gestures. I’m also working on a big project with Mario Capalini the owner of Elygo and Kae Vuitton the owner of Vuitton. But that is still in progress so I won’t tell more !

Anyways, let me talk to you about the post of today… Did you notice this skin ? Yes it’s the skin I worn in October, for one of the profile pic I had made with my ex-blog partner Dwaine. It will be released at the end of this week. I’ll review the pack thursday before it gets released so you would all be able to make a choice of make up. Well, you can see that the studded cuffs I had asked on flickr where finally made, by Epoque. I’m super happy she finally made them, and released them, even if the price is a bit expensive, it’s worth it cuz, it changes color.

Anyways, I’ll be back later or tomorrow morning to talk to yall about Dekade (CheerNo’s new name)and much more.

This post is so full of newness and pretty pretty things and pretty pretty new things that I just feel dancing around my desk. Yes, I’m that pixel happy!

Keeping the promise I made in my previous post – here’s more on the new skins released by Dekade – plus two versions of each skin available as store reopening group gift.

Plus: Don’t forget about Limited Couture, only 100 copies of each item are sold and some of them are almost out of stock (one outfit is actually sold out, so don’t kill me for posting about it now).

And, last but not least: Remember that pretty free mesh dress by the new brand ColdLogic? Well, the store is about to open with a full mesh collection! Opening day is February 1st, so get your lindens ready, the designs are to die for!

And now let’s get back to Dekade. You need to see Grace and Bridget! Both skins come in six tones and each pack includes three eyebrows options, blonde, brown and red hairbases, pubic hair layers, and cleavage option. These are no-makeup skins, so you can customize them to your needs and taste. For each skin there is a pack of 10 lipsticks available and eye shadows that you can buy in a pack or separately.

I was like a kid on Christmas when I logged in to SL this evening to find some blogger goodies from coldLogic, the new brand I featured in my last post. It was something I was not expecting, and I feel very honored to have been allowed an even bigger peek at coldLogic’s upcoming collection. Aggressione has a new dress and it’s named after me! And it comes in my favorite shade of green too! Also, Dekade is back with a new mainstore, new skin and new gifts, go go check it out!

Moniq comes in 7 colors and is available on the marketplace and at the main store. Also, this week you can get it at a promotional prices.

And now more info on Dekade: The brand has two women skin and two make skin out. Each skin (and now I’m talking about the ones for the ladies) comes with dark, blonde and red eyebrows, have cleavage and hairbase options. I suppose that the “irony” in this post is that it’s not quite the iron color that Luna lists on her blog. Oh well, I figure that iron kind of looks like grey. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it! [►] Every girl knows they have one friend that they can go to with anything at any time and it won’t matter if your problem is serious or ridiculous, that friend is gonna sit and listen and understand and be supportive, even if they disagree with everything that comes out of your mouth. One of those friends you don’t talk to for awhile and out of the blue one day, you find yourself talking for hours and catching up on things you’ve missed, as if you hadn’t missed a beat. That’s my Jaliyah..or as I like to call her, Jelly. She’s the Jelly to my Peanut Butter. What’s reallllly cool, is when you and that friend have a few major common interests. One of ours is blogging. I’ve been super busy for awhile and not kept in touch with her as much as I should have, so we decided hanging out this weekend was a must..and of course..with that comes a blog post! Aren’t we adorbs? Alright, enough mushy mushy, Jelly knows I ♥ her! On to the clothes!

I’m wearing some of the newest releases from d. Select. These leather shorts and cardigan are soo cute and go so well together. Also, as I’ve mentioned before, I’m a sucker for pig tail braids, so a huge thank you to Wasabi Pills for this hair. Again, her mesh hair is just amazing and now comes in 2 sizes, one for boobs…and one for BOOBS! Jelly and I hit up t he Truth District earlier for the sale (yeah, I’ve been several times now lol). But, if you haven’t, make sure you get there before midnight slt, that’s when all the 50% off sales turn back into a pumpkin. Jelly’s wearing some really cute accessories from R.icielli that she picked up during a recent sale. I’m not sure if that’s still going on or not, but its worth a tp to find out! I hope you’re all enjoying your weekends so far! I’ve got some pretty exciting news to share in a couple of days, so be prepared! ♥
