Mark your calendars, ladies and gentlemen, this post includes decor! While I love SL houses and furniture, I’m too lazy to decorate and always let my man do the building part. That’s why our home is always a garage

Today, however, I took my time to turn my studio in a comfy little room, using FD Decor items available at the Back to Black event as of February 11. I’m pretty happy about the result, so it could remain like that for a while, especially since the items are very low-prim.

In other news, Moniq is wearing more Back to Black exclusives, so have a look at the pics!

The pretty dress is by Kunglers, the lassitude & ennui boots and the je suis bag are mesh, the skin is by new to me store Avisage and the hair is by Loq. The poses used in this post are by Geez and are also B to B specials.

CHIC Management is back with another great event. Back to Black is an awareness event (not charity!) making people aware of the various disorders that fall under the scope of mental health. As someone who has battled depression for years, as well as watching family go through it this is an event that is close to my heart. And I thought it fitting to share this event since The Black and Blue Fair, in June 2010, was one of the first posts I ever made on this blog. (Please don’t laugh to much!)

Azoury Ariel Back to Black Event

Chic Management’s Back to Black Event will be held Feb 11 – 29, 2012, to bring awareness to mental health issues. For more information visit Chic’s website.

Designers were asked to make exclusive items for the event. As soon as I saw Ariel by Azoury I was blown away by its natural earthy feel. I’m a tactile person and I wanted to touch and feel the textures…they are amazing.

Other items from the event added are this really cool bag by Glow Studio. Love the shape and spikes…goes perfectly with this dress as does the platform boot by Ladies Who Lunch.

You won’t be dissappointed visiting this event…many amazing items…these are just my ultimate favs. I will post the LM when the event begins.

YAY the ZombiePopcorn Crew is back with one of their fantastic hunts! ZombiePopcorn Hunt 6 is the LOVE Edition. Do Zombies fall in love? This round of the hunt will let you discover the perfect goodies that may help you find out, or they may just be things that you fall in love with and need to own. I know I did when I opened each of the packages.

Vix became a member of the paparazzi again, shouting rebake and snapping all of the photos that went into the gallery of this post. [►] I have had the worst problems with SL today. My sim’s down, everytime I try to do anything I crash, so I’m callin it a night, BUT I was able to get these pictures done and up. I wanted to show you guys this new jacket from Entente. I love it. And I’m gonna be honest, normally..I don’t do yellow. But this jacket is amazing. It reminds me of fast cars, so I tpd to this sim..and let me just say..there were sooo many people in and out of here. I’m too posh for this place!

I’m in love with the sim I chose today for pics, though it’s not really suited for Moniq’s outfit. I went on and took the snapshots here, because it somehow reminded of me going grocery shopping. Of course, I’m not going to the supermarket dressed like that, but whenever I have to buy stuff that’s necessary for the home I’m always a bit lost and undecided. Of course, I’m the queen of buying useless stuff just for the sake of buying it, on the other hand. And that’s how Moniq looks at that market. Would you imagine here negotiating fish prices?

The point of this post? The boots and the bag! I obviously caved in for the new Slink Relax boots, they’re too pretty to say no or look elsewhere. I also love this Chandelle bag, because it looks a lot like a bag that I have in RL, but I’d love it in that color. The skirt is mesh and is an older release by Elymode, the top is Sn@tch, the fur collar is taken from a Voix dress.

The skin is a new release by Essences, called Elena. It comes in five tones and you can also get lipsticks separately. The hair (with matching hairbase) is MADesign’s prize in the Womenstuff hunt.
