A few posts ago, I mentioned the mesh sweat pants from JP:dsg. Seriously y’all, I am so in love with these which is like almost unbelievable because I don’t usually enjoy the baggy pants in SL. But these are just…I know, I’m totally obsessing right now. Anyway, JP:dsg has released some new textures from camo to floral to a super sweet white pair. Seriously boys and girls, you gotta buy these, they are worth every single $L. I’m so into bangs right now that I had to picked up the new Ebony hair from Truth…in the wrong colour pack *facepalms* BUT I’m bound to make it work!

Ever heard of Fashion Cache? Me neither. Until a few days ago that is! It’s another one of those monthly / weekly / bi-weekly / weekend / daily / minute events that are popping up all over the place. Everything that is released for Fashion Cache is 100L (or less?) including these slutty sexy Cropped Throwback Tee from Aura. Obviously, showing a whole lotta underboob is sooooooo passé (giggle giggle). There are 3 designs in three colours. After Fashion Cache, they will be available in the mainstore for 200L so snatch ‘em up now for a discounted price while you can.

The other day I was searching the Marketplace for mesh boots because one can never have enough. I WAS looking for sultry knee / thigh high boots but instead came across Dirty Lynx’s Baggers. Dirty Lynx is one of those stores that is not well known but has such amazing products. These Baggers are available in a variety of textures, come with optional “thermal wool” like socks and there are male and female versions (although SOMEONE who, just because she is incredibly cute, amazing, and thinks she can call me tiny said they look like big old man boots on me).

Definately a classic boyfriend cardigan with generous kimono sleeves.  Long line, drapy with lovely saggy pockets.  Very warm and comforting, very wearable and very affordable.  145lds.  I chose the safe darkbrown “driftwood”colour but you have a choice of 8 colours or you could cave into temptation and buy the fatpack for 699lds and have a colour for all moods.  A small selection of Mesh clothes but if they maintain this quality then I can see myself popping back many times, esp for the decadent cowl necked dress which is very cheeky.

ohmaiiigod…Swaffette Firefly of SF Design is the reason I’m not in my bed..*shakes fist*… at approx 1.00am GMT time …she verrrrry casually mentioned that she had made some…MESH BOOTS…yes indeedy…and who could go to sleep without trying them on?!!  These are my first ever pair of high heeled meshy type boots *squeee*…they are a pair of  ”take you anywhere”  boots..classy…sleek..high slim heels…and FIFTEEN preset colours to choose from, plussss tintable…the HUD is sooper easy to use…I used the medium size and they fitted perfectly, also included is large & small…can you believe they are just 300L? (When you land at SF Design, use the teleporter board to go to the shoe & boot department – or as Swaffette just told me, theres a board righttt by the Monday Mania bit- DOH!) Demo available…thanks Swaffette <3

I’m never blue on Monday..its a cause for celebration…cause Mondays are Mania day ! Mmhmm Monday Mania hits SF Design today..and for us gals there’s a wonderful striped tee…I’m a biggg stripe fan, it figures hugely in my real life wardrobe too…for just 25L, and only for today from the Monday Mania board, you can snaffle up this little beauty. Sleep in Dreams

I work almost every, single day now.  Sometimes, it’s easy to get caught up in the swirl and twirl of day-to-day living and anxiety.  Colors start to blend, merge, germinate, and blossom into a few staggered and blurred wisps streaming against the dark soil that has become your mind.  Before you know it, Mondays leap over Wednesdays before plowing straight through the spine of Fridays, splattering the remnants of weekday commitments across the warm sands of promised paradises Saturday and Sunday.

I think I needed this little escape.

What I really love about Second Life is that it’s such an excellent outlet for our emotions.  We have a place here where we can imagine, re-imagine, and create.  It’s a video game, yes, but it’s also somewhere that we can all use to explore our feelings, thoughts, ideas, and desires. 

It’s digital therapy for the pixelated soul.

But while it can be therapy, it can also be an all-consuming dream.  We play here, lost in our moments, and while we exist within our avatar meshes a whole world of perhaps greater possibility and experience spans out across a vast distance of the possibly never known.  I feel like this pixelated world let’s me find myself, though.  I feel like I’ve found substance here as well as in my fleshy form, and I’ve realized that dreams aren’t only meant for those moments we’re soundly asleep.

FATEeyes

FATEeyes are a new revolution of eye customization coming from Damien fate and will be hitting the grid tomorrow. FATEeyes are mesh and can be worn by avatars of any size because they are easily resizeable. They are customizable in 5 different areas: the iris, pupil, sclera, veins and shine effect. But, what I really love about these eyes are the pupils, they dilate at random intervals, just like real eyes. Each part of each eye can be separately tinted and textured, and you can create and save your own presets.

I went ahead and created a video that shows me playing around with the eyes a bit and going in depth into the hud, etc… I thought it would be fun to do since it’s impossible to capture the awesomeness of these eyes with just one image.
