We did uptown, we did weirdtown, and now we’re doing downtown with more fab items from Culture Shock. Bela Tolsen of Tutti Frutti has done a chic sequined top in a range of soft spring colours as well as a wide variety of patterned slacks to mix and match. A donation item benefiting Médecins sans Frontières features a gorgeous coral version of the Zoe top. GOK is offering a cool Aztec collection. A clutch similar to the one you see here, but with a spiked flap, is set for donation, as is a fatpack of the purses. The irresistible new mini-collection from 22769 offers jewel-toned Arabian styles and earth-toned African wares like this funky head-wrap named after Erykah Badu.

CStar’s donation item, the dramatic Osumare Skin, inspired today’s look. If you like this skin, you may enjoy dressing your av like a mime in a catsuit. Seriously. When your av lands in the CS sim, she will be blown to smithereens if she’s wearing more than 50 scripts. (Naw, jk. Cool explosions would just lag the sim all to hell.) I am a fan of these enforced script limits. I realize that most of you don’t want to run around for days like an AOless newb while you try to get into the sim, but it’s actually quite wonderful to have an excuse to not coordinate accessories. Or wear clothes. Hence, mime in a catsuit. If you TP off to Del May’s shop, you can pick up for free an all-in-one, low-arc mime skin by Ugly Duck, which comes with a pack of classic mime poses. Culture Shock is a perfect excuse to fight an imaginary wind, no? There’s a male version too, so you can run around like an AOless newb with a matching boyfriend.
