I love blogging Lilo Glom’s skins for JesyLilo because they are both glamorous and offbeat. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, there’s a whole new line of skins inspired by Oleg Dou. Each skin comes with a shape—which I didn’t use for these photos, on account of Portia being neglected for a week—and a pair of eyes. There are actually three versions of the skin included in the pack. Each one has a different tattoo on the back: a dragonfly, a seahorse or a peacock. The beaded bald-head tattoo Portia wears here is a makeup layer, also included, though perhaps not in every pack. Do check Lilo Glom’s Flickr for more pics and please demo skins before you buy! I didn’t GIMP a pixel on Portia’s face, but this Windlight setting isn’t going to follow you around like a faithful dog.

GIMP report: I spent an hour removing black lines from these photos. I hate that! I also fixed Portia’s body when the pose betrayed her or her booty looked less than joosy. But the skin is untouched.

Today, I fulfil the fantasy inspired by LpD’s Etnic Chic Suit in black. I styled the red version into a safe resort look. But I knew there had to be a way to take this baby into the clubs. I suspected colourful trainers would be the key ingredient. DRD’s Lazyheels (which are very inexpensive, dig) spared you the spectacle of purple-and-yellow shoes with a purple-and-yellow outfit. Yvw.

Not-Portia’s Vive9 hair and (fd) tattoo are available at Collabor88 till the 7th. The Blah poses and Glasiz glasses are gifts in the For Whatever Hunt, which is officially over, but which lingers on in the shops of chill procrastinators. The yellow Blah jumpsuit is only 40L at the February FTLO BLack Market. There’s also a silver version. The fat men’s sweater is a free mesh item from Mr. Poet. The pack includes grey and navy versions. For a non-adjustable men’s item, this sweater fits surprisingly well.

This delicately made-up skin from LpD is available through Saturday at Fashionably Late. The pack includes a shape not shown here, and there’s a darker tan version available. The Sauce lashes, which I love, are another 40L Black Market item. They can be worn without the bottom lashes if neither you nor your av is fly.

Digable Planets’ debut is the only album anyone ever stole from me. Give it back!

Pop on your orienteering outfit and spend some time exploring the reopened Drowsy sim. It’s thoroughly charming. You’ll enjoy unexpected encounters with lions and hippos and bears, ohmai. The hippos eluded me until I tried to take a pic of my av standing among the ducks. You can also do some shopping at Kurotsubaki and BP*, where I picked up these un-camouflage leggings.

There are so many hunts starting up that I feel like blindfolding myself. And randomly shooting arrows at people. The Where is The Concert Hunt is ending on February 3, so you should go now to Fallen Gods Inc to pick up this not-camouflage Aladdin Sane tattoo. Don’t forget that there are new LBs and a dollarbie skin at Mother Goose’s, as well as several new releases. My lumpy, block-chinned new av looks better than poor Portia in every skin I try on. So she’ll be sticking around.
