It’s an event that happens every Tuesday and ends on Sunday each week. Different stores participate every week and nothing is over 99L. The event is all about home and garden! Hey everyone, I am back from the abyss that was my internet being a pain in the ass and breaking the entire weekend! UGH Computers are a pain in the butt!!
I was asked to cover Collabor88 for Soph today, she’d started the ball rolling yesterday but has had to go for exams today (GOOD LUCK SOPH!) so I am here to finish the post off for her!
I don’t normally have a great love for C88, some pieces are pretty but it is a bit girlie for me a lot of the time, I think though I might be one of the only ones with that opinion amongst the Seraphim girls, they all get super excited at C88 time! This time though I had to have the League necklace, it just screamed BUY MEEEEEEEE!!!!
Anyway, Earthstones seems to be running a little late, but there may be news about it soon!

Over at The Ego Co., our team has been super busy organzing Mesh Around. Mesh Around is a grid wide hunt running June 1, 2012 – June 15, 2012 where all hunt gifts will be mesh items! We are very excited to be bringing this hunt to the grid and well as some other events I’ll talk more about later on. Applications for Mesh Around officially closed this past weekend, but I’ve had several people IM me and ask me to keep them open another week. SO I’ve decided to re-open them through the end of this week!
Mesh Around applications are re-opening today and will remain open through Midnight, May 13, 2012!!

I saw these jeans were free as a hunt gift at Aura, and once I had my grabby little hands on them, I knew I needed to make an outfit around them. I’m really digging these jeans though, I may go back for another color…I had my eye on the pink…
I hit up the Private Room Event and brought home the Oops Shirt. It’s a clever little top with a bra unhooked hanging down from underneath. The skin is new from Glam Affair and the makeup is from chelle and the hair is from Tameless. The jewelry comces from NHA! and the pose comes from Long Awkward Pose.The tattoo I picked up at Glue Ink, there’s not a lot of tattoos there, but I see major potential. The shoes are from Lelutka, you can barely see them though..I’ll have to do a better shot of them.

Yes indeedy, 2010… 2 years ago we began the Pure Eggs & Spam blog ! Its been a fahhhbulous 2 years…and wed like to thank all the designers who have shared their creations, the hunt organisers who’ve allowed us to blog their events, and of course the event organisers who gave us so many previews for their fairs etc- you all rock ! mustn’t forget YOU, the friends we’ve come to know…who read the blog..and comment and pass us all those tips for great places & things to go see *huge hugs*
We had a little think, wracked our brains…wriggled about a bit..and decided that wed love to have a competition ! The Pure Eggs & Spam group members already have the info mailed to them direct in a group notice…for those of you who aren’t in the gang…heres the landmark of the location to get all the info. I have provided two props in a box (free of course!), one of which needs to feature in the photo ! It’s that simple…snap away…

The Stringer Mausoleum is a store that has been around for a long while in SL, and it is one of those stores that means a lot to me personally as it was one of my first favourites! I was sad when it and it’s designer, Helena Stringer, took a break from SL, but now it’s back! Dragged back in for the Crazy Hair Hunt, she caught the bug again and has begun working on her store, with a new-found passion for the petites!
To launch her new collection, Helena is releasing some of her latest items in special edition colours in A MINI HUNT! In this hunt you can find 4 eye sets, 2 wing sets and 2 hair sets, these will be set for sale at 5L each, and will include Regular and Petite sizes. Everything is also UNISEX! All you need to do is find the candles, but there are some that are not set for sale too, so which candles hold the prizes?
This mini-hunt runs until May 13th.

There are still two days left of the UNICEF Event, which ends on 10 May. This is one of the outstanding designs on sale at the event – the Jacinthe gown in red by House of Rage. I am a huge animal lover. I am also deathly allergic to cats and dogs. It's a huge downer, I drive myself nuts looking at photos of various animals online that I wish I could own, and know I never can. Even with the allergy shots, I can end up in the ER particularly around cats. I still dare to dream, even though I can never have one. So, on Plurk last week when I saw Intrigue, Co's message about needing help with her cat Shadow IRL I properly did the pouty face and decided to go grab what Katherine had put out to help raise funds for her precious pet.
Not asking for outright donations, she has put out 3 items that you can donate toward. A mere 10L or more donation gets you one of the three items! Also, the PJ's come with a box for females and one for men so guyssss…suit up! I mean, that's a hell of a bargain and if you're feeling generous you can donate as much as you like per item. This here 'Roo PJ is one of the items and there was also a Ram but…I thought I made a better Kangaroo for the photos. Cute, right!?
And if you'd like to be particularly gangster like me, you'll be a Kangaroo riding a Panda! These items are up today (5.7.2012) for the last day! So head on over to Intrigue, Co and grab some cute things while helping a sweet kitty!

Culture Shock opened on May 4th as many of you probably know. The chosen charity for this event is Médecins Sans Frontières (for the second year). Bela Tolsen of Tutti Frutti has released a set of mesh pants and tops for this years Culture Shock. I’m wearing the Believe mesh pants and the top in Baby Blue (I think that’s the color of the top, SL won’t let me log into double check).

Round two and we are in there like swim wear well we didn’t make swim wear but we made a Cardigan with A H letter which carries the Drama symbol so we entitled it The Drama King Hook Up with included Beanie to really set it off. It is only available at The Mens Dept and is a $150 l’s. Also don’t forget to check out all the other great and talented designers who have amazing items available to you.
