So I recently became part of the Concerned Bloggers Association which is a great group that strives to educate Second Life™ Peers on various topics. This month topic deals with exercise and I chose to concentrate on Yoga. So lets get started on yogafying your life!
So if your like me, exercising is the least exciting thing to do. But in this day and age exercise is essential and the key to living a long healthy life. Although that is true finding a good exercise regimen you can comment to can be difficult. Me personally I tried just about everything, Tao-bo, Pilates and even exercise tapes. I would do good for about a couple of months and slowly but surely my drive to keep with it would whine down. As my confidence to lose weight was declining, I happen to come across a Groupon for a 30 day pass for a Yoga class near my home. I had always wanted to try Yoga and thought this was a good opportunity to give it a shot. Especially since trying other exercise regiments weren’t working out.
Yoga for the Mind, Body and Soul
My first day of Yoga was an experience to remember. I had decided to take the morning class that was offered thinking it would be a good way to get my day started before work. I made sure I had everything I needed and followed the advice of the Yoga instructor on preparing for your first class. My first class was truly a shocking experience, muscles that I never used ached and burned and for a split second I thought I made a terrible decision in taking the class…lol But despite the pain I was determined to stick it out. Fortunately I’m glad I did, I have manage to lose over 30lbs, reduce my stress and sleep better. Yoga has now become a part of my life and something I have been able to stick with. Yoga is truly a life transformation that effects your mind, body and soul. For those who may be looking for a good exercise that can help you lose weight, reduce stress and relax your mind Yoga is worth a shot.

I don’t take a lot of pics of my back but I made this pic and I loved it. Flirt is Geometry’s newest release. This mesh dress has a loose top with deep cleavage, a tightly wrapped skirt to hug your curves and it ends in a delicate ruffle. Somewhat similar to a previous release, Watercolor , I’m loving how Geometry has been playing with ruffles and transparency. Flirt comes in six color choices, buy the fatpack for 856L or get them individually at 295 each.
Thi hair and jewelry can both be found at Culture Shock. The Groove Theory hair from Exile is weird and unique, I grabbed the naturals pack (love it when a variety pack is offered!). My necklace and earrings are the [HANDverk] Bauhaus Face set which includes a choice of silver or gold metal.
I’m wearing the tintable version of the demon fades from The Plastik. It acts the same as the ankle blender sock does for my rigged feet. I was hoping I could wear my hands without bangles but the join is still pretty obvious. Oh well, I do like how the demon fades reduce the shine on my arms and legs, letting it blend a bit better with the prosthetics. Wearing the demon fade along with my lipstick, eyebrows, liner and hairbase I hit the tattoo layer cap of five. Lucky the Mynerva lipsticks include eyeliner optons if needed. I also hit the alpha layer cap in this outfit so I’ll have to do some combining soon. Speaking of alpha layers, Geometry has excellent customer service. If your alpha layer doesn’t quite fit, don’t be shy about asking for a custom fit alpha.
I went to the bang to try out their pose stands and decide what would work with my outfit. Even though I have a pose hud to help me change poses quickly, I haven’t taken the time to load it up in awhile. So pretty often I run to the shop to try out the pose stands for sets I already own. The sim is has a nice atmosphere, so I took my photos on the path just outside the shop.
