Id heard a lot about Curious Kitties…so as I couldn’t sleep last night I decided to head over there and see what all the fuss was about…I landed smack bang on top of a board of free gifts - now that’s cool ! Picked up this twirly girly skirt and top…look fahhhbulous together…the shirt has an alpha layer so you don’t get any pokey-outy bits hurrah!

Then I spotted this fantabulous free hair…well its more like a head sculpture…you get different coloured flowers to adorn the tree…as I was vamping it up..I picked red…and then wriggled into this gorjuss free dress…lovely details…that you can see SO well because I’m a rubbish photographer *grins*…the choker was also free in white, found that as I mooched about..

I was totally over excited by the butterfly game ! Theres a couple of these dotted about the store…pick up your free hammer and wear it…sit on one of the treasure boxes that surround the glass dome and click MADLY ! Eventually- and it does take a while (easier with more people hitting) it will burst open and someone gets a gifty yay! GREAT FREE FUN…go get your hammer and go for it.

After a rainy start…we had some sun this afternoon…made me wish SO hard for the summer to hurry along…just right for the warmer days ahead is this new release from Arisaris…the hankerchief dress…batik inspired print…with a really beautiful shape to the hem…its mesh so jump on in and give it a whirl…trust me..you will love ! A real steal for 199L…

I also popped along to the new collection at The Dressing room..and snapped up this hair from one of my fav hair designers Exile..called “Violetta”, comes with four colours all for 60L !

Have waited for ever to try out a mesh corset…and yay! CandyMetal have them in stock and waiting to leap onto your bones right now..stuffed full of funky details…buckles…zips, straps…and only 199L..two versions available…scrummy huh? (demo is there to try) Medium was a great fit for me..but theres plenty of smaller and larger sizes to wriggle into. Cant stop wearing this hair I found at Ronsem..hair base and high topped pony..love it.

I slipped the 2nd style on with some gorjuss new mesh trousers from SF Design…cant believe these are just 130L a pair ! Squillions of colours..the bright red is just edible..as you go into SFD look up up UP..new mesh goodies are there…also showing my dollarbie shooz from choooz…grab a heap from the 1L section at the rear of the store…to be honest…all of the shoes there are extremely affordable…love love LOVE my new bowler hat lights from LISP Bazaar..just 10L for all three colours..steal !

Yes indeedy, 2010… 2 years ago we began the Pure Eggs & Spam blog ! Its been a fahhhbulous 2 years…and wed like to thank all the designers who have shared their creations, the hunt organisers who’ve allowed us to blog their events, and of course the event organisers who gave us so many previews for their fairs etc- you all rock ! mustn’t forget YOU, the friends we’ve come to know…who read the blog..and comment and pass us all those tips for great places & things to go see *huge hugs*

We had a little think, wracked our brains…wriggled about a bit..and decided that wed love to have a competition ! The Pure Eggs & Spam group members already have the info mailed to them direct in a group notice…for those of you who aren’t in the gang…heres the landmark of the location to get all the info. I have provided two props in a box (free of course!), one of which needs to feature in the photo ! It’s that simple…snap away…

Welcome to your Monday at Pure Eggs & Spam. You should know by now that it’s not even close to being Monday until we’ve seen what Monday Mania goodies are up for grabs at SF Design. So, in that spirit of let’s-get-Monday-startedness, I give you the Ramses Sandals.

These sandals are so awesome, they don’t bother with any such things as foot shapers, no. They don’t need ‘em. Just wear the attachments and boom, these super sandals are on your feet and looking good. If for some reason they don’t fit, you can always resize them. They also include a handy HUD that will allow you to match the colour of the toes to your own skin, I was tremendously lucky as I seemed to have gotten the right colour right out of the box! There are 15 preset colours to choose from so I’m sure you’ll be able to find your own or you can tint them further with the colour pickers.

The Ramses sandals are wonderfully detailed, the white stitching around the straps especially caught my eye and for L$25 they are a fantastic addition to your shoe closet. Of course though, you can only score these sandals at this price today only from the Monday Mania board located in the casual men’s section of SF Design.

Culture Shock and added freeness

Hola ! The Second annual “Culture Shock” event runs until May 26th ! The chosen charity for this event is Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors without Borders) As you arrive at this event you are checked for high scripts…so be sure to remove all unnecessary items (my shoes were the worst!) or you will find a red barrier preventing you from entering. There is soooo much to see…about 180 designers worth of stores to explore, and all for a great cause. [echo] is one of these, and the lovely Echo Requiem send me a box of her items to show you ! Above I’m wearing the plaid Interval mesh jacket…traditional design with extra flair…sits beautifully over one of the ligature leather mesh skirts …totally adore this style of skirt..the brilliant leather look, coupled with a jaunty flared hem…perfect…(check out the red, super classy tone)..I’m also wearing this months gift skin from Filthy “Jasmine” in beach tan, you get a boatload of skins in various shades…join fee applies, and with a skin like this as a gift…just DO it !

Had to keep that leather skirt on, this time worn with the latest group gift from Schwarz, a teeny top that leaves your torso mostly bare..yumm…thanks Gelsi <3 There is a small group join fee, but totally worth it for the offers & gifties ! My jewelry is from the fantastique sale at Dark Mouse..10L for single packs, 25L for fat packs *faints*…I took Zan over and she went CRAZY ! Its such awesome quality you just cant stop buying..go to the rear of the store, and enter the red tent…these items will not be available after this sale..so grab em while you can (SIX luckyboards in the store to stalk also !)

Last up..as I was wandering around Culture Shock..I stumblebumbled over a free gift from AlterEgo…a box containing six versions of this sweet outfit, you get the stockings and dress…peek at the rear…gorjuss chain that runs up your spine…thanks alterego !

Raise your eyes up from the divine Gos boots, reassuringly expensive, and look at the reassuringly affordable linen pants. At this moment they are only 35lds or 175 for the fatpack of all 5 colours and I wish I had seen the fatpack before I bought this pair as they’re all so wearable the sort of item of clothing that easily mixes and matches with what you have in your inventory. Great colour, texture and nice button detail.

PS spotted a pink star on high which is a hunt gift for “This is totally ME hunt” there actually seems to be quite a few hunts going on here so I’m popping back to see what else I can find
